Hamburg Cruise Days

At the second Hamburg Cruise Days, from the 30th of July to the 1st of August, six of the biggest and most elegant ships of the world will bring their salutes from the seven seas to the hanseatic city. A real highlight, not only for cruise fans.

Their names are AIDAaura, Columbus, Deutschland and "Mein Schiff" and they stand for wanderlust, yearning, the lightness of being – three expressions which are closely linked to cruises.

At the Hamburg Cruise Days 2010 old and young will be able to get up close to the "big tubs" in the port of Hamburg. The Cap San Diego will even be offering the chance to go on taster cruises. Highlight of this meeting of the dream boats will be the "good bye parade" on July 31st.

Hamburgs famous light-artist Micheal Batz will once again illuminate the whole area, creating a magical "blue port", which already delighted hundreds of thousands of visitors during the Hamburg Cruise Days 2008.
