The Hamburg L-A-G (Landesarbeitsgemeinschaft für behinderte Menschen, a state labour organisation for disabled workers, has compiled an online guide for visitors in wheelchairs which contains information on things to see, theatres and many other places of interest for tourists. There is a wealth of useful tips for your visit.

Make Hamburg even better!
If you notice something in the Hanseatic city which you think could be improved – whether it be poorly prepared staff in a museum or the lack of a WC suitable for disabled people at a tourist attraction – you are welcome to send an e-mail to the Senate Coordinator for Equal Opportunities for Disabled People in the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg. Help make Hamburg accessible to everybody!

You will find other information, such as special events for disabled visitors, in the Hamburg Guide for the Disabled, where there are also lists of cinemas, clubs and concert halls suitably equipped for disabled visitors.

Cycle Tours
