GUILT TRIP from Manchester appeared on the scene at the end of 2016. Their highly acclaimed debut EP Unrelenting Force put them on the heavy scene map, a fast and determined record that set a high standard for the band.
Despite touring internationally, the quality of their music and their hard work, they were somewhat overlooked by the music industry, but the release of their second album Severance on MLVLTD, home of acts such as Malevolence, changed all that, as GUILT TRIP have been on a monumental springboard ever since.
After all, Severance debuted at #7 on the iTunes metal chart just behind Metallica, Slipknot and Black Sabbath, staying in the top 50 for over three weeks and racking up over 2 million streams, as well as receiving numerous praise reviews (Kerrang, Metal Hammer ad).
GUILT TRIP is skillfully crafted metal heavily influenced by the hardcore of Hatebreed and Pro-Pain with riffing like Machine Head.
