Three friends set out in search of the fountain of youth and find themselves in a remote Alpine
village. Instead of the fountain, they encounter a witch, who foretells that one of them is the
reincarnation of Empress Sissi and will be rewarded with eternal youth and wealth — but only
the one who decides in the “most royal manner” will be chosen. A ruthless battle ensues, driven
by the friends’ own megalomania. This film is like an over-the-top stage drama, and above all,
unadulterated CAMP.
