Die Regisseure Lexie Bean und Logan Rozos, zwei trans* Personen, die eigene Versuche überlebten, folgen den Geschichten von Blake Brockington und Kyle Prescott, zwei Jungen, die ihre Versuche nicht überlebten. So wird der Film zu einem Raum für Erinnerung und Bewusstsein, für die Neudefinition von Männlichkeit und die Infragestellung

This sensitive documentary that premiered at the Berlinale has its starting point in an urgent question: “What do we do with our community’s collective heartbreak?”, addressing the reality that over half of transmasculine adolescents have attempted suicide. Directors Lexie Bean and Logan Rozos, two trans* persons who survived their own suicide attempts, follow the stories of Blake Brockington and Kyle Prescott, two boys who didn’t make it. In doing so, the film becomes a space for memory, awareness, the redefinition of masculinity, and the questioning of the social and political hostility faced by the
trans* community.
