Mondo Generator was formed in 1997 by Queens of the Stone Age bassist/singer Nick Oliveri. Initially intended as a solo/side project, the classic "Cocaine Rodeo" album was recorded that same year, but shelved until the Southern Lord label released it and its unique brand of criminal insanity to widespread acclaim and horror in the summer of 2000. The follow-up, "A Drug Problem That Never Existed," was released jointly in the Summer of 2003 by Ipecac/Rekords Rekords to further critical acclaim. A worldwide tour followed. The band is coming back with a new lineup (Nick Oliveri with Mike Pygmie on guitars and Michael Amster on drums), a brand new album FUCK IT and a bunch of represses via Heavy Psych Sounds !!! www.mondogenerator.net The Vigil is an Alt Rock band from the UK now based in Hamburg. The current line up is Oliver Smith from the UK on lead vocals and guitar, Felipe Bravo from Columbia on Bass and Stefano Colomo from Italy on Drums. The band has a sound combining Alternative and classic rock, with elements of punk, metal and stoner rock thrown in for good measure. The Vigil has supported and toured with many great bands such as Puddle of Mudd, Everclear, Therapy?, Anvil, The Datsuns, Lonely the Brave, Unzucht, Electric Eel Shock, The Answer and many more. They have also worked with great producers such as Nigel Pulsford from the band Bush, Dave Draper (The Wildhearts) and recorded at Rockfield Studios where Queen recorded Bohemian Rhapsody. Their last album "Hypervigilance" got 7 out of 10 in the German Classic Rock Magazine and appeared in the German Metal Hammer Magazine. They had radio play in Europe and were featured on the UK rock radio station Planet Rock. They are currently working on their third album. www.the-vigil.com
